1 of 3, in a series of Australian Brahman Cattle. Each reference image was provided directly to me by an Australian Brahman Cattle farmer of one of their cows to be used in this print series, and the original piece of art was given to them in return.

Originating from the United states in the early 1900's through selective breeding, Brahman Cattle are known for being intelligent, inquisitive, and docile, and highly adaptable to harsh tropical environments, particularly that of Australia. They are characterized by their distinctive long ears and hump at the base of their neck. The hump on their neck helps with heat dissipation and acts as an energy resevoir, storing energy-dense fat to use during times of scarce food resources. Because of their adaptability to harsh climate, the Brahman has turned vast areas of previously unproductive land in Australia into profitable cattle operations.

Each print is made using archival quality ink on a 120gsm art paper, by a local company on the Sunshine Coast in Australia with each print being checked for quality next to the original portrait.

My custom made oval matt boards are available for the prints in either black or white options. Finished prints will be mounted on a backing board and signed by myself.
